During Thursday’s CNN Democratic debate, frontrunner Hillary Clinton repeatedly refused to answer questions regarding her Wall St. speeches and transcripts.

“If there is nothing in those speeches … why not just release the transcripts and put this whole issue to bed?” CNN debate moderator Dana Bash asked Thursday night, according to TheBlaze.

TheBlaze reported:

Clinton insisted that “there isn’t an issue” and started discussing the financial crisis of 2008.

Bash pressed her to remain on topic: “Secretary Clinton, the question was about the transcripts of the speeches to Goldman Sachs. Why not release them?”

Clinton that she would only release her transcripts if 2016 contenders on the Republican side did so as well.

Bash reminded her that she was running for the Democratic nomination.

“You’re running now for the Democratic nomination … many Democratic voters want to see those transcripts. It’s not about the Republican voters,” she said.

Clinton replied that she wanted to “set the same standard” for everyone, an answer met with boos from the audience.

Clinton’s comments were met with many resounding boos from those in attendance.
