When New Jersey high school football players kneel during the National Anthem for their own protest, the referees become angry.
One of the games referees, Lunardelli, added to NJ.com in an interview that he told Thomas Paulikas — the officials assigner for the Greater Middlesex Conference — that he would walk off the field if any players took a knee for the anthem at games he officiated.
Joe Walsh, former Congressman and now right-wing talk show host, tweeted his comments, saying “Some HS players took a knee to protest the anthem. Two refs counter protest by walking off. Good.”
