Senators John McCain and Chris Coons purpose an immigration bill that they believe will reach middle ground with both sides.

In their proposal, they offer “dreamers” a path to citizenship and safety from deportation, while providing more border security without the funding of a wall.

McCain added that their bill would  “address the most urgent priorities of protecting Dreamers, strengthening border security, alleviating the backlog in immigration courts, and addressing the root causes of illegal immigration.”

Former Congressman and now right-wing talk show host, Joe Walsh, tweeted “ puts forth an immigration deal: Amnesty & citizenship for “dreamers” in exchange for a study on border security. No thanks. Get lost with that deal. That deal is a joke.”
