With various NFL football players continuing to kneel at football games during the national anthem, NFL owners have started considering their policy regarding these protests.
NFL owners will reportedly consider a rule change at a meeting next week that would require players to stand for the national anthem at football games.
Joe Walsh, former Congressman and now right-wing talk show host, tweeted “NFL owners considering a rule to require players to stand for the Anthem. That’s because they’re losing money.”

An NFL spokesman said Tuesday that owners will have a chance to review the current policy, which encourages players to stand for the anthem but doesn’t make it mandatory.
