Democratic donor, Tom Steyer, reported that he was not going to be running for office in 2018. He will, however, be pledging $30 million to “win back” the House.

Steyer is pumping the money into his NextGen America group’s youth program, which is aimed at organizing and turning out millennial voters. Steyer said he is also “doubling” his push for President Donald Trump’s impeachment, which he has already backed with a $20 million national advertising campaign. That campaign, called “Need to Impeach,” has helped Steyer build a massive email list.

Congressman Joe Walsh, tweeted “I remember when Democrats screamed in horror about Citizens United and how we needed to get money out of politics. But Tom Steyer is on their side, so I guess that makes the $30 million spend perfectly fine to them.”
