Look, buy Ivanka’s stuff, boycott Nordstrom. I don’t care. But I don’t want anyone using their government position to intimidate Americans or enrich themselves.
At several points throughout a Thursday morning interview, White House counselor Kellyanne Conway instructed Fox News viewers to go out and buy Ivanka Trump‘s products.
Conway praised Ivanka’s “wildly successful business” on Fox & Friends after Nordstrom announced they were dropping her line after poor sales. “I think she’s gone from 800 stores to a thousand stores, or a thousand places where you can buy. You can buy her goods online,” Conway said.
That apparently wasn’t blatant enough. “Go buy Ivanka’s stuff is what I would tell you,” she said later. “I hate shopping, I’m going to go get some myself today.”
“This is just wonderful line,” she continued. “I own some of it. I fully — I’m going to give a free commercial here. Go buy it today, everybody. You can find it online.”
