The widow of fallen American soldier Sgt. La David T. Johnson, Myeshia, joins Good Morning America, and bashes President Trump on live T.V.
Controversy has been stirred due to allegations that President Trump was disrespectful and condescending during the call.
Myeshia explained that she had the phone on speaker when Trump called so that her family could hear, and that the president said that her husband “knew what he signed up for, but it hurts anyways.”
“It made me cry, because I was very angry at the tone in his voice and how he said it,” she continued, before claiming the president did not know her husband’s name.
Former Congressman Joe Walsh tweeted about the incident, saying “She goes public about a private call. Shame on her. Now she should be attacked like any other partisan. Her choice.”
